ok from October 1st all business's shops ect must be accesible to people in wheelchairs in Britain
But from what i can see in Glasgow very few have bothered
i have 2 friends who use wheelchairs one permanately he has severe cp, and another who will now need 1 for life
the level of accessability in Glasgow is shockingly bad many shops ect consider 1 or 2 steps to be a small obstacle but when you have to manoevour a chair up those steps its infuriating
the attitude seems to be oh well its a small price to pay and ehm uhm help!! what do we do when faced with a severly disabled person who cant speak
i dread to think of the money these eejits will be paying out in fines on the 1st of October.
